Farne Cottage is a two-bedroom terraced cottage in Belford village, Northumberland. Part of the Bluebell Farm Cottages group, it sits at the end of a quiet no-through road overlooking a burn. Belford is known as "the Gateway to the Secret Kingdom" a proper base for exploring the Northumberland coast.
Belford village has pubs, cafés, shops, a small hotel and bus and taxi links. Bamburgh's wide sandy beach and its famous castle are just 5 miles east. The Northumberland coast is within 3 miles. This is serious walking and wildlife country.
The cottage sleeps 4 across two bedrooms a double (4ft 6in) and a twin with two 3ft singles.

Bamburgh Castle (5 miles east) is a must. Holy Island/Lindisfarne (12 miles) and the Farne Islands boat trips from Seahouses (7 miles) are close by. Alnwick Castle and Gardens are around 20 miles south.
