What an absolute gem. The best equipped kitchen we have ever stayed in - and we have stayed in a lot. The location is just right for the local eateries and the beach. Enclosed gardens front and back a real bonus for our dog. Although parking has been mentioned, we found no problem - but we were staying in mid December. Might be a problem in the summer.

The cottage has been beautifully renovated with no expense spared. The location is amazing, and being able to gaze at the castle while lying in bed made my week. The beds were comfortable and everything you might want or need for a relaxing stay is provided. One niggle was parking. There are no allocated spaces and with residents, workmen, and visitors, more cars than there is parking. It's a first-come-first-served basis, so if you have mobility issues and need to park close to the cottage, you might be out of luck. Parking in Bamburgh in general is difficult, although there is a long-stay car park near the castle if you don't mind a walk. Overall, I would recommend Finn Cottage for anyone looking for a relaxing week by a superb beach. Can't rate the cottage highly enough.

Finn cottage was brilliant. This is our third year holidaying in Northumberland and our first stay in this property. We were overwhelmed with the location and views. The house was very well equipped, perfectly clean and afforded us all of the comforts necessary for an enjoyable week by the coast. We highly recommend this property and will very likely be back, to make more memories in this gorgeous part of the world.

Finn Cottage was a total joy. The view from the bedroom window meant it was difficult to leave it in the mornings! So much to do, places to visit,and the choice of two areas in which to relax. A secure garden for our little dog who enjoyed all the new walkies too. I can only recommend.

Finn Cottage has perhaps the best location and outlook of any in Bamburgh with a stunning backdrop directly of the castle, from just the right distance to enjoy it fully. It has been really well refurbished and provides everything you need to make the most of your stay, we particularly liked all the feature lighting throughout as they made the most of every room. The gardens both front and back provide a secure place for our little dog. A lovely cottage, in a great location, highly recommended.

Our second stay at Finn Cottage. Spotlessly clean, very well equipped and extremely comfortable. Lovely big bed in the main bedroom with fabulous views of the coast and the castle. Walking distance to pubs, restaurants and shops. Beach 5 minute stroll away. The cottage is warm with plenty of hot water. There are two safe, fully enclosed gardens so perfect for children or dogs. Highly recommend and we hope to be back.

This is an absolute gem of a holiday cottage, the location is perfect and the views from the property towards Bamburgh castle are amazing, having a cuppa in the morning watching the sunrise over the horizon and castle was just perfect. The cottage itself is decorated to a high standard with lots of mod-cons. Parking can be a bit challenging outside the property but we always found somewhere in the town and itâ??s only a couple of minutes walk. Bamburgh itself is a great location with pubs, cafes, a castle and a dog friendly beach!
