We've really enjoyed our stay in Elliot again. The location is perfect for us. For years we stayed in the Victoria Hotel but last year we tried Elliot for the first time. The only slight problem is the bathroom is downstairs. Thank you x
Elliot Cottage was a comfortable and cosy cottage which was well equipped and had a good parking space. The owners clearly visit frequently which is reflected in the property being well maintained and having a homely feel.
Absolutely wonderful place not too far from Bamburgh Castle, lovely cottage. Very close to cafes, restaurants and a pub. Super cottage Absolutely loved every minute of it. Would highly recommend it.
We absolutely loved Elliot cottage, old and quirky but very well equipped and maintained. Proximity to the village was wonderful and the beach close enough as most properties are in the village not at the beach in Bamburgh. Had everything we needed including a great parking space.

Had a great stay in your lovely cottage in a beautiful part of the world. Our fault ,but did not appreciate until later that the toilet was down stairs and caused a few problems for my dodgy knee during the night. The cottage was so well equipped and clean but we felt that the outside vegetation could have been cut back as it was untidy .

Delightful and comfortable cottage. It was very well equipped for cooking proper meals. The position is ideal for exploring the area and great to be in Bamburgh and have parking. Also lovely to have the garden to sit in.

The cottage is lovely in many ways. However I don't think the carpet in the lounge had been hovered on arrival. So I did it. The back garden area is so overgrown we could not use it. It needs some attention along with the garden furniture.The toilet seat needs replacing as soon as possible, not nice at all.

Very comfortable and well equipped perfect for the 4 of us. If I were to be picky I would say that the rattan chair in the lounge is not very comfortable for a prolonged time say in an evening compared to the other seating in the room, but thats a minor comment. Great position for walking and getting out and about, quiet at night and very helpful to have designated parking in such a busy place.
A comfortable cottage in an ideal location, very central to the village but tucked away enough to be quiet. The cottage includes a nearby parking space and is well stocked with kitchen utensils including electric oven and hob, fridge no freezer compartment microwave, toaster, kettle and cafetire. Bedsheets are provided but towels are not. There is no washing machine at the property but the cottage information book includes details of a local laundry service if required. The cottage can accommodate 4 people across 3 bedrooms. There is one bathroom on the ground floor with a shower over the bath please note this is not a power shower. We had a very enjoyable, week long stay at this property and would be happy to return in the future.

Elliot Cottage was just perfect. It was authentically welcoming, from the cozy living room to the lovely, quiet bedrooms with extremely comfirtable beds. I loved the kitchen to actually enjoy making breakfast and cooking elaborate dinners every day on a holiday is testament to how good the facilities were. Sometimes it's the simple things that make the difference, and for me the joy of the kitchen was being able to listen to Radio 2 all the time which i really miss, living overseas. All on all, my family and I truly loved our stay in Elliot Cottage, a little gem located in a stunning setting of my native Northimberland.

A comfortable cottage and enjoyable stay. Kitchen well stocked with utensils. Comfortable sitting room. House information book should say electric switch for TV is behind curtain, this was only found after much searching. Beds comfortable. Only discovered on last evening, only one loo role provided. As they no longer provide a bottle of wine, perhaps an extra loo roll would be a good option and not an expensive one. Key lock needs replacing. Was told by neighbour last visitors also had problems with it. Direction guide to get to property is incorrect. The road number quoted is B1342 but the description is for B1341. This has been noted by a previous visitor but not changed. Lastly the bathroom is fine but could the cord for hot water be lengthened. In present state it requires you to climb on the lavatory. I wondered why there were marks on the toilet seat but soon discovered why. I understand it's a small property but would have liked a washing machine.

The property was well kept, clean and well appointed. The beds were very comfortable, the cottage was warm and quiet. It is in an excellent location and provides a relaxing and pleasant base to explore the area. The extractor fan appears to need attention as if switched on it just blows back into the kitchen but this wasn't a major issue.
Lovely cosy cottage. Good quality bedding and good selection of kitchen utensils, pots and pans. Quiet location and allocated parking very welcome. Would recommend.

A typical old country cottage. Very quiet and conveniently placed in village. Nicely furnished with parking.
Elliot Cottage was neat, clean, cosy and tastefully decorated. Everything was in the property that we needed in good working order including all appliances, instant hot water, television and internet access. Elliot Cottage is in a lovely peaceful location and is also near restaurants, and within easy walking distance of a lovely green for children to play on with a stunning backdrop of Bamburgh Castle and an awesome beach. We loved staying there and hope to be back in Bamburgh again.
Excellent location for exploring the bamburgh area. Cottage was very cosy and had everything we could want. The secluded garden was a bonus to enjoy a glass of wine. Open fire was like home from home. All made our week one to remember.
