We very much enjoyed our time at Breakers, the clever layout, of the living areas upstairs, made the most of the stunning views. The property is finished to the highest standard and was spotless clean. The location is ideally suited to visit the surrounding coastline, along with the added bonus of a secure garden for our dog.
What a stunning property! Excellent location with amazing views of Bamburgh Castle. All the amenities we could need and spotlessly clean! Communication of the host Lisa was fantastic, she was so helpful and made our stay so wonderful, even going that extra mile by adding added stuff for the children and the little treats for us. We had a truly wonderful week and would highly recommend this property to everyone. If you want a beautiful property in a fantastic location this is the one for sure!

We have a lovely stay at Breakers. The property is beautifully furnished and has a great double aspect first floor space with views to the coast and the hills. It is in a beautiful part of the world. Communication with owner was prompt and helpful. We would stay again.

Breakers is a superb find. Couldn't fault the standard of accommodation and location at all. Beautiful views of the castle from the front and a lovely balcony overlooking the countryside at the back. Plenty of private parking and a fully enclosed garden which was great for our dog. Definitely would recommend and will return for another visit. lt is a real home from home .

Breakers is a lovely holiday house set within a small stone built complex of other properties about a mile from Bamburgh village. The house is beautifully appointed and well equipped with everything you would need during your stay there. Immaculate and very well presented. Set within a fenced garden and pet friendly which is great if your taking your dog. Great base for exploring this lovely area. Lots of great beaches and eating places to explore nearby. Would highly recommend this property. Also great communication and welcome treats for us and the dog from the property owner.

Breakers was a fabulous cottage. It had everything needed like a home from home and was exceptionally clean, which is important to us. We were left some gifts on arrival which were greatly appreciated. An outstanding property that is excellently placed to explore Northumberland. We loved everything about it.
Lovely property and well equipped, would have loved small outdoor table and chairs to eat outside and small table for drinks on the balcony. A softer bed would have been more comfortable too. These are only small things but would have made a big difference especially the bed. The host was lovely and accommodating and helpful with walks. Loved the property could have lived there!!
Breakers is a lovely, wellequipped house which has been beautifully furnished and decorated. Everything you could wish for in a holiday home. It is in a lovely, quiet location just a three minute drive from the lovely village of Bamburgh with its great pubs, restaurants, walks and of course, castle! The full length balcony at the rear is just perfect for relaxing after a day out with stunning views over the Cheviots and an amazing variety of wildlife passing by! We had a wonderful week at Breakers and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful, comfortable holiday 'home from home'. The owner is especially helpful and welcoming.

Breakers is a beautiful property. We stayed for a week in early February. The owners left a lovely welcome pack which was a very nice touch. They made contact with us ahead of our trip and offered any support or help that we might require. They were even able to offer slightly early access to the property, which we appreciated having made a long journey. The property was spotlessly clean and well equipped. The bed was very comfortable, there was plenty of storage and hanging space for our clothes, and there was plenty of hot water. We have stayed in numerous properties in the Bamburgh & Belford area in the past couple of years and Breakers is the best so far, in our opinion. The property forms part of a group of refurbished farm outbuildings and is located only one mile from Bamburgh. Bamburgh Castle is in full view from the property. The area is very quiet, which is just what we wanted. We fully intend returning to Breakers ant some point and would certainly recommend it to anyone wishing to explore the beautiful, unspoilt Northumberland countryside. Thanks to Lisa & Peter !
Really lovely location with great views. Very clean and well equipped. Lisa the owner could not be more helpful and always answered queries quickly. We spent over 2 weeks there feeling very comfortable and at home. Cant recommend it highly enough.
