Lee Cottage is a Grade II listed former fisherman's cottage on Holy Island (Lindisfarne) in Northumberland. It sleeps 2 as standard with a Z-bed for a third guest. The island is cut off from the mainland twice daily by the tidal causeway a genuinely rare setting that creates complete peace and quiet. The cottage has been updated with contemporary interiors while keeping its original character including a bespoke designer oak table and chairs.

Holy Island sits off the Northumberland coast. Long sandy beaches are within walking distance. The harbour is on your doorstep. This is where the Vikings first landed in England in 793 AD. Lindisfarne Priory and Lindisfarne Castle are both on the island you can walk to both. Shops are 200 yards away and food pubs are 500 yards away.

The cottage sleeps 2 in a first-floor double bedroom (4ft 6in bed). A stowaway Z-bed sleeps one extra guest. Ground floor has an open-plan living space with Freeview Smart TV, DVD player, DAB radio and Bluetooth speaker. Kitchen has electric cooker, microwave, fridge, freezer and dishwasher. Ground floor shower room with walk-in shower.

Bamburgh Castle is an easy drive on the mainland. Seahouses is nearby for Farne Islands boat trips to see puffins and grey seals. Alnwick Castle and Gardens is also within easy reach. The island itself holds enough history for a full week.
