We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Coral Cottage. Beautifully situated a stones throw from the coast, the cottage is spacious, comfortable and well equipped. The layout was perfect for 3 of us and our 2 dogs, with a small but well kept garden area at the rear. We would certainly recommend this property for folk keen to explore the amazing surrounding coastline.

Upon first impression the cottage was very spacious a welcome pack was a nice touch. We felt comfortable here, everything we needed was here. A walk to the beach in the evening was lovely to capture good sunsets. If there were any niggles the lower garden needed new patio set and the steps leading up to the upper garden needed more privacy

Lovely accommodation. Tucked in a courtyard across from budle bay. Parking in front of the cottage so unpacking is easy. The garden is full enclosed and safe for bigger and tiny dogs. The cottage was spacious and we didn't want for anything. The welcome pack was stunning. Full of treats and essential bits to kick start your holiday with a cup of tea and luxury biscuits on arrival. Excellent kitchen and utensils meant good quality cooking could be done. Thats when your not out eating. I used the washing machine and dried the washing on the clothes horse so i would suggest taking some pegs. Great accommodation to relax and unwind in and very close to everywhere we wanted to go to. We visited craster seahouses blythe berwick Morpeth alwnick bamburgh sea house lindisfarne beadenell embleton st.abbs and the longest drive was 50 minutes most were 15 to 30 minute drives. Such a dog friendly county too. The beaches were breathtaking. Castles amazing and the boat trip to the farne islands amazing. I did check to see if we could stay for another week we loved Northumberland that much. I would suggest the jolly fisherman in craster for crab sandwich and the golden fleece in alwnick for lunch. Great hospitality and very dog friendly. Don't forget the smokehouse in Craster for home smoked fish.

Coral cottage is in a great location for exploring with good parking spaces directly outside the front door. Inside the cottage was spacious, clean and has almost everything needed except for decent wine glasses and washing up liquid. Outside, the back yard and garden, however, really need attention. The furniture was tired and dirty and had been left positioned randomly. The yard immediately outside the back door had piles of dead leaves and everything in the garden could have done with a good trim back. All things that could easily be resolved.

Coral Cottage was fabulous and exceeded our expectations. Whilst it was an excellent stay a couple of things could be improved. Firstly, the outside space and garden furniture would benefit from a bit of TLC. Also, some glass wine glasses would be preferred to the plastic ones provided. Neither if these things affected the quality and enjoyment of our stay. We would definitely recommend the cottage if you are looking to visit Northumberland.

The cottage is equipped to a very high standard, comfortable, clean and very well presented. Let down by the outside area and outdoor furniture looking tired. The garden needs a bit of tlc, grass clippings collected, dead leaves cleared away etc. This didnt really spoil our stay but the difference inside to outside is obvious. Oh.. some decent wine glasses! Overall we had a lovely stay.

This is a charming cottage which is much bigger than the listing suggests. Great location about 1 mile out of Bamburgh with a very short walk down the hill to the beautiful Budle Bay. Wouldnt recommend the walk down the road to Bamburgh hilly and on a main route with fast cars Cottage is very modern with most things youll need and a nice little welcome basket. Smart TV is a bonus, with good WiFi and an electric car charger. View from the garden across the bay is stunning unfortunately the weather didnt allow us to spend much time there Parking for two cars but needs some careful coordination with neighbours to ensure all cars can easily get in and out.

This is a lovely cottage. It was very clean and attractively furnished. There was a welcome basket including tea, coffee, milk sachets, biscuits and crisps, as well as a a cleaning pack, including washing up sponge, small washing up container and dishwasher tablets, although there were also extra tablets in the under sink cupboard. The main bedroom had lots of clothes storage and a very comfortable kingsize bed. It was great to have a smart TV for the evenings. Outside, the seating area in the garden was a real sun trap, and despite being above the height of the house, it was sheltered from the cool April winds, so that we sat outside most late afternoons after a day of walking or sightseeing. The location is very good for sightseeing. You can walk down a lane almost opposite the driveway entrance and it takes you straight down to the beach and to the English Coastal path, so excellent for walks. Note that you can't let dogs off to run around in Budle Bay, due to protection of wildlife. There are several pubs and restaurants in Bamburgh and small supermarkets in Seahouses, about 10minutes drive away. All in all, Coral Cottage is a perfect base for a week on the Northumberland coast.

Excellent comfortable cottage. ..... quiet and super to chill. Also, just a short walk to Budle Bay. Perhaps , a bigger more comfortable chair for the 3rd guest , in the main room as the sofa is a bit small for three persons. Overall, a great place to stay , fully recommended

Property was lovely, ideally based for walking or touring the area, the bedroom wall and plugs were very dusty near the window. We had issues with all the tvs the problem wasnt fixed until nearly four days into our stay, didnt think the cottage company was over helpful, its a pity the good house keeping bond doesnt work both ways. The garden was a no go area most of our stay as a tree was being cut down which we wasnt advised about, also we had someone enter the cottage whilst we were out for some reason on our last day which we were also not advised about.

After having some bad experiences this year of short breaks. This was fantastic.Within an hour of arriving my wife said she could easily live here.It had everything one needs.plus and extra little goody basket. as it was November we did light the fire which made it nice and cosy.It was lovely and quiet,With a short walk to the beach.Which we did and had a fantastic walk to Bamburgh and back again.Would highly recommend.

I would suggest that the brown folder with instructions for appliances and especially the heatingwhich was complicated without the instructions be placed in a PROMINENT position and not under the coffee table! Everything else was just right

What a wonderful surprise when I arrived. Exactly as listed and the kitchen so well stocked. Absolutely everything you could possibly need. Beautifully decorated and clean. Amazing power shower, sadly missed now I'm home. Lovely little garden but would have prefered a photo of the steps. My little dachshund recently had spine surgery but she waited, top and bottom to be carried. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will return.

Just got back from a fantastic break on the Northumberland coast. Coral Cottage is a great place to stay as Budle Bay and the beach with views of Lindisfarne is only a 5 minute walk down the path on the other side of the road. The walk along the coastal path to Bamburgh and the castle is stunning, all the major attractions are within a 2030 minute drive from Budle, we visited Holy Island and Lindisfarne Castle, Amble, Alnwick, Craster and Seahouses to name a few. The cottage was spotlessly clean, warm, cosy easy to control Nest central heating and beautifully presented with pictures of local scenery and has everything you need especially the well equipped kitchen.

We have stayed before the new kitchen and bathroom are great wish the 2nd sofa was still there Great location, great facilities we will be back again!

This property gave us a perfect weeks holiday. It was clean to perfection and equiped with everything one could possibly need. As for the location , it is idyllic. I have used cottages for 50 years and this was by far the best ever. Can't wait to return !!

Upon arrival, there was a sign saying do not use the fireplace for health and safety reasons, an empty petrol can by the back door and a smell of petrol in the kitchen and living room. As we arrived quite late we shut the doors to avoid the smell entering the rest of the property and continued with the holiday. After a couple of days the smell remained, we called Sykes who sent someone to the property. A few hours later we were informed theres no problem and the smell of petrol meets required standards. Not much we could do so we stayed for the duration and then left on checkout. A real shame as the property itself was lovely, you do not expect to feel slightly unwell from petrol fumes on holiday however.

A beautiful looking property with high ceilings and wooden beams looks stunning and All the facilities were there had trouble finding cutlery but a phone call later and a hidden drawer solved the mystery it really could do with a deep clean you can forgive spiders webs high up in the eves but in lamp shades next to the sofa and at the side of the sofa in corners of skirting a quick hoover would have sorted The living room tv was extremely dusty and the shower door runners were very grimy small things but easily fixed and we cant be sure but we both thought maybe the bedding wasnt fresh We were disappointed with our 3 night stay mid October only managed 2 went home early it was freezing cold unable to use log burner a sign stuck on the front informing us of health and safety issues and the heating system just doesnt warm the property adequately Not a problem for a summer stay but not recommended for the cold weather Also when leaving the key security box wouldnt lock so had to drop keys in at seahouses office

The cottage was lovely and in a great location, just cross the road and onto the beach for long walks. The kitchen was really well equipped and the general decor was well done and cosy. Cottage is in a good location for getting out and about with Bamburgh close by which is one of our favourite places. The only downside to Coral Cottage was the EV charger which did not work, this was a welcome feature and much needed on arrival. On contacting the number we were given got through to Northumbria Coast and Country Cottages, we had to ring four times over four days, not once did they return a call telling us any updates. I understand that things do go wrong but assume this had not been checked as unlike the wood burner we weren't notified that it was not working. We got told on the third phone call that the owners had said we could plug into the cottage, this was not possible, for one thing we hadn't brought the plug in three pin charger but in any case it wouldn't have reached a socket and even if it had it would have meant having the front door open while charging which obviously is not practical, I explained that we didn't have it to the lady on the phone and she mentioned trying to get something out to us, again, no call back. Due to this we had to be looking for charging points on occasions when planning days out, not what we had expected to be doing. The poor customer service is what has annoyed us and I think the owners should be aware. I contacted Sykes on our account as it says to do but so far have had no reply other than an automated one.

Beautiful cottage with quality decor and they have thought of everything you could possibly need. We were pleasantly surprised how close the beach was to the property and the sea view we hadn't realised we would have from the garden and bedroom window. The electric car charging point was an added benefit

Coral cottage is ideally situated and the cottage is clean and lovely. The garden outside is perfect for the dogs and it has a lovely big kitchen and all the necessities for an enjoyable stay. The only criticism would be the tvs in the bedrooms dont work properly handset with tv and the coffee machine which looks like a treat does not come with any pods so was a tad disappointing. This cottage could be made into a cottage for four not just three as the second bedroom is big enough. If this happens please come back to me as I will definitely book it again . This was our third visit and we love this cottage. The new kitchen and shower are both an added luxury, well thought out. We had problems charging the car on the first evening but this was quickly sorted out the next day. And the new fridge was not closing properly, but again this was sorted out quickly. Great problem solving by all concerned!! We will be back great, peaceful location and lovely beach walks.

Coral Cottage is an absolutely delightful property, just a short walk down to the beach in Budle Bay, where you can pick up the Northumbria Coastal Path and either head round to Bamburgh or in land towards Belford. It took us a while to locate the cutlery its in a draw in another draw! but, apart from that, it would definitely be our first choice for our next trip up to Northumberland. The seating is comfortable, as are the beds and there is everything you need to make it a home from home for the duration of your stay. We really loved being so close to the sea, which you can view from the upper deck of the garden. Northumberland has always been our favourite holiday stay and our favourite places, Bamburgh, Seahouses, Beadnell Bay and Holy Island are all just a short drive from the cottage.

We had a wonderful week. The property was excellent. Clean, tidy and very comfortable. The scenery and beaches are stunning and we would love to return later in the year.

Property was delightful and as described. It appeared extremely clean, however more attention needs to be paid to under setees, beds and wardrobes, extremely well equipped and lovely safe garden for small dog. Would love to come back during a summer. Highly recommend.
