This was a lovely cottage well appointed and warm . The garden was particularly good . The kitchen was well equipped apart from only 3 teaspoons The shower worked well the bedrooms were comfortable . The sitting room homely . Being within walking distance of Belford centre was a plus . I can recommend the deli . Lots of places in easy reach .. holy island ,Banburgh , Berwick and Alnwick all worth a visit . Would highly recommend this cottage .
Loved our stay at Stable Cottage! Lovely quiet spot but not too far to walk into the village. A good central location to visit all the beaches and tourist attractions.Warm and comfortable, we didn't need to light the wood burner as electric heating very efficient. Lovely garden and friendly hens that visited every morning! There was everything we needed and recommend that you book for a stay.
My wife and I both rate this holiday let as being one of the best we have ever had. It is well equipped, very comfortable and is in a very attractive and quiet location. We feel we could highly recommend it to all our friends and relatives.

Really loved our stay here and would definitely return. Owners were very helpful and the cottage was a brilliant find. Fantastic location with plenty to do in the area. Only a short walk into the village. Log fire was a nice touch and the garden was beautiful to sit in.

This is a comfortable well laid out, clean and equipped property. Access, parking and facilities are good. We did not meet the owners who live opposite but everything was easy to use inside. There were books, games and DVDs in addition. We appreciated the biscuits, tea and coffee left to use and wood for the stove. There was a lot of useful tourist information left to use. There were some bulbs needed replacing inside. The bedroom curtains let in sunlight in the morning blackout linings or blind in summer would be appreciated. There was a minor leak from the shower at the side which pooled next to the toilet which is of concern for the integrity of the flooring. This might be a faulty sliding door seal or sealant of the glass panel. The shower base is very slippery and a shower mat would be useful for children and the elderly.
The place was spotless and lovely and warm when we arrived. The only down side would have to be the shower, the shower is good the only thing wrong I would say is that there isnt a shelve to put shower gel etc, you just have to put it on the floor of the shower unit. It still wouldnt stop us coming back though

This is a great cottage it does exactly what it says on the tin. Belford is a great location to take in a lot of Northumberland. The cottage was clean, homely and comfortable a nice place to come back to after a long day exploring the area. Would recommend to other people.

The Christmas decorations added to our enjoyment and fresh eggs from the owners The only disappointment we had was the lack of pressure in the shower impossible washing long hair , which we both have. I was looking forward to the shower as I moved six months ago and have been living in ABB. However this would not prevent me from booking again providing pressure was attended to. I must add this cottage had it been on the market I would have been the first to put an offer in

The property is in a great location, very quiet. We walked into the main village every day, a bit of walk up hill to return. The house was very clean, and had all the accessories needed to do some good home cooking. We were even welcomed with some flowers and biscuits, which was a lovely touch.
