Barbara
We had a brilliant stay in Mistletoe Cottage. Its in a superb location, you can even see the castle from the lounge window. The cottage was very clean and comfortable, with the biggest bed weve ever slept in. Would definitely recommend. We enjoyed our stay so much that we have booked it again for later in the year.
Central to everything beach cafes and restaurants accommodation was everything ... Central to everything beach cafes and restaurants accommodation was everything as advertised every thing we needed was there and lovely view of Bamber Castle

This is a wonderful property in the heart of Bamburgh with a view of the castle. We had a lovely stay here. The cottage is cosy and well appointed and we appreciated the thoughtfulness which has been put in to create the space. The property was a great base from which to explore the area and although it does not have a parking space, we found it easy to park in the village. We would definitely recommend Mistletoe Cottage for a quiet and comfortable break.
Lovely cottage in the centre of Bamburgh. Clean with all facilities. Would highly recommend and will definitely go back.
A delightfully planned and decorated property in a perfect location! Bed very comfortable. Quiet surroundings but quality amenities right on the doorstep. We had a wonderful few days staying in the cottage and enjoying the area around Bamburgh. The weather was planned perfectly too!! Thank you
Just to say we had a wonderful stay at Mistletoe cottage. The cottage is in a beautiful location and situated just off the main street with free parking close by, and just a few minutes walk to the beach and Bamburgh Castle. So peaceful, considering its close to the local hotel. The cottage itself is perfect for two, and the owners have thought of everything to make your stay a relaxing one. It's beautifully decorated and impeccably clean. The bedroom is lovely and has French windows to a small patio area. The bed is huge, and so comfy too. The lounge is so pretty and comfortable, and the kitchen is perfect. We'll definitely return to Bamburgh again and wouldn't think of staying anywhere else other than Mistletoe Cottage. Thank you so much for the welcoming goodies too.

Its also very close to the beach and what a beach! Heavenly Mistletoe Cottage has everything you could need to enjoy your time away. The cottage has great decor, beautiful finishing and all items are top quality. It feels like you are staying in a much loved home. It was a joy to stay and we would definitely love to return soon.
Andrew
Fabulous cottage . Ideally situated in Bamburgh village. Short walk to beach, castle. All restaurants and pubs within 2 minutes walk serving very good food and drink. The upstsirs living room with adjoining kitchen was ideal for two and warmed up quickly and retained heat. Decorated and furnished to a high standard throughout.
Ashley
Great place super location
We loved our stay at Mistletoe Cottage. Although small, it is so well designed that it feels spacious and perfect for two. The place was immaculately clean and everything is top of the range. There's a fine view of Bamburgh Castle from the sofa, which tempted me out each morning to see the sunrise. Because the cottage is down a side street, there's little noise and we had no trouble parking further down the road, just past the permit holders' bays. There is only a small amount of outside space, but with the delights of Bamburgh on our doorstep and one of the best beaches in the world 5 minutes walk away, we didn't feel the lack. We can thoroughly recommend Mistletoe Cottage and also the Northumbrian weather. Five days of glorious sunshine at the end of October!
Michael
I had a fantastic week here. It's a lovely property with everything I needed and the location is absolutely 100 A1 perfect!
Penelope
We very much enjoyed our stay at Mistletoe Cottage. On arrival we found it to be spotlessly clean and exactly as described. It is perfect for a couple compact without seeming cramped and tastefully decorated. The location is excellent close to the main street with all its amenities, but very quiet, with no passing traffic. We would definitely want to stay there again on any future trips to Bamburgh.
Sheila
A wonderful little cottage with a view of the Castle. It has been very well designed with a second floor lounge and kitchen, downstairs bedroom and shower room. It was clean and very comfortable. A delightful place to stay.
We loved the situation of the property, being in the centre of Bamburgh and just metres from eateries and a short walk to the beach. To have a view of the castle from the living room area was delightful. The bed was very comfortable, which is always a bonus. While the property was excellent in many ways, there was room for improvement, eg in the bathroom a towel rail next to the washbasin for hand towels would have been more convenient, as would a more userfriendly loo roll holder. Although it was possible to dry bath towels outside in fine weather, when it was less good the switch for the heated towel rail was not obvious and not easily accessible. Overall, however, a very comfortable cottage.
Although modest externally, the cottage was well positioned close to village amenities. It was very comfortable and well appointed with some lovely homely touches. Cleanliness and standard of accommodation was first class. A wonderful view of the castle was the icing on the cake.
Malcolm
This is a perfect cottage for two people. It couldnt be more convenient and the owners are very helpful.
Really enjoyed my stay at Mistletoe Cottage. The property had everything I could require with perhaps the exception of a proper oven although this wasnt a major problem. Considering the proximity of the property to two of Bamburghs most popular pubs, I was pleasantly surprised by the lack of noise. All furnishings were very comfortable, particularly the bed I do like a firm bed and got one here lovely!. A few more hangers in the wardrobe would have been appreciated, although again, this is a minor grumble, as there was lots of drawer space. Free parking in the village can be problematic, but obviously in a village as popular as Bamburgh you wouldnt want it spoilt by masses of cars everywhere. If you do manage to secure a spot around The Middle green space in the middle of the village be aware that if you take your car out for the day you probably wont get a space back before the evening. There is a pay and display car park beneath the Castle NOT the Castle car park itself. Back to Mistletoe Cottage itself. Its perfect base for couples or singles who wish to explore northern Northumberland. It was very clean and tidy had everything I really required, and because the cottage is detached you didnt get disturbed by much in the way of noise. I loved Bamburgh, where everything is just a stones throw away. The beaches are stunning, the Castle, magnificent can be seen quite clearly from the cottage and I was very sorry that I had to leave at the end of my holiday.
Excellent location, in centre of village. Cottage to a high standard.
A beautifully converted cottage containing everything you need. Even though it says there is no oven the microwave at the cottage is one that is an oven, grill and microwave so you can cook simple meals during your stay. The cottage was beautifully maintained and in a quiet area. We managed to park next to the village green but it was off season so there were plenty of spaces available. The cottage is about 5 minutes walk from the castle and the beach and the village has a selection of pubs, eateries and a traditional butcher should you require it. Would highly recommend the cottage to anyone wishing the visit the area
The cottage was clean, well equipped and very comfortable. Outdoor space is quiet and peaceful.
A cosy, tasteful and slightly quirky retreat, wellequipped and within very easy reach of the village and beaches.
Really comfortable, quality accommodation.
Compact and very comfortable accommodation with everything that we needed.
