The property is lovely and very well sited. We appreciated how clean it was but would suggest a change of washing powder as my daughter and I both had rashes from the very strong biological powder that was used.

The cottage was perfect for our holiday. Great location & worked well with our children & dogs. Very comfortable and decent showers always a good thing! The cottage has absolutely everything you need. The kitchen was very well equipped. There were also plenty of cleaning products & equipment available if needed. We enjoyed our stay so much we immediately booked for next summer.

We had a lovely holiday at Sand Dune Cottage which had everything we needed and was very conveniently situated near to the beach and lots of places to visit.

Whilst the location of the holiday home is absolutely perfect for exploring Bamburgh Castle and surrounding area, we were disappointed with the property itself. The cleanliness was not up to standard and the cottage itself is tired and cluttered. Overall we would expect a higher level of attention. To charge such elevated prices comparable to and mirroring the more modern and contemporary properties in Bamburgh, the cottage needs a significant overhaul.

Fantastic property in a great location

We had a really lovely few days saying at the cottage. It was a fabulous base with an amazing view and a great garden for the dog. We found it really comfortable and spacious and very well equipped. The views across the sand dunes were beautiful and the location was perfect. A really wonderful place for a break.

Beautiful cottage in a perfect location. There were 6 adults and we all had plenty of room. The kitchen was fully stocked with pots pans and cutlery and all the bedrooms were so comfortable.

Great cottage equipped with everything you need. Even with a bad knee it was an easy walk to the town and castle. Extremely relaxing.

Had a great time, will be returning next year all being well.

We had a lovely stay at Sand Dune Cottage the location is perfect for the beach and the centre of Bamburgh. Seahouses is also a very short drive for access to larger shops. The cottage was very well equipped with everything you could ask for in the kitchen plus things like beach towels, dog bowls, games and books which were a useful addition. The enclosed garden was perfect for our dog. We made use of the candles on night 1 as there was a long power cut so great to find those. A couple of things we felt could be improved the microwave makes a terrible noise when in use. The toilet in the main bathroom doesnt flush properly and this needs attention.

It was our second stay at sand dune cottage and hopefully not our last the cottage is ideally situated with the beach at your doorstep and pubs and the famous copper kettle tea room less than a ten minute walk away also the bus stop is at the cottages front door . The cottage itself is ideal . Warm and cosy, spotlessly clean and fully equipped the owners really have thought of everything.

Great cosy cottage, perfect location. Would benefit from more space in kitchen cupboard for our own food etc. Bit noisy from road traffic but overall really enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

Beautiful cottage, very well equipped and in a stunning location!

The main bathroom toilet did not consistently flush, this will need some attention. Apart from that the cottage is perfect in every way and we will most certainly book again

Really enjoyed our stay. Cottage was well equipped especially pleased to see some decent sized wine glasses and really comfortable and cosy. A wood burner would make it perfect although only for aesthetics as the cottage is really warm and some decent kitchen knives would be useful. Otherwise a really positive stay, customer service was great when we locked ourselves out and it was fabulous being so close to the beach and some terrific places to eat.

We&39ve had it all, rain, wind and sun. Lovely warm and well equipped cotage to return to each day when we did venture out. Walk through the dunes was well worth it for the view alone.. We will definitely be back here again. Thank you Steve and Amanda for letting people share your gorgeous your gorgeous cottage.

Sand Dune Cottage has been perfect home from home. It&39s warm and cosy and we will miss walking to the beautiful dunes and glorious beaches and sea only a stones throw away. The neighbours are very friendly as are everybody. Highlights was the holy Island trip with the delicious lunch.

Lovely cottage in a great location if you want to be close to the beach.

Perfect, simply perfect. The cottage was just right for our holiday. It was dog friendly with having enclosed front and rear gardens ensuring the dogs could go outside safely. The rooms were beautifully decorated in keeping with the coastal theme and were clean and well furnished. I would recommend this cottage and will certainly book it again for future holidays in Northumberland.

The cottage is thoughtfully set up and perfectly situated. The beach and shops are easily accessed, as is a range of places in which to eat and drink. It is close to many places of interest and offers a great holiday in every way.

Lovely property, easy walking distance of Bamburgh and just a hop to the beach will be back for a longer break maybe next year.

This is our second visit to Sand Dune Cottage, and it has been refurbished to an excellent standard. The on demand heating is lovely and warm after returning from a cold walk along the beach. Lovely enclosed garden front and back of the property, ideal for dogs.
