This was our first stay at Quarry Haven and it wont be our last. The house was easy to find just outside Bamburgh. The house was warm and cosy on arrival. Everything was tidy and spotless. The welcome pack provided some tea and coffee bags, coffee pods, biscuits and milk sufficient for a drink and snack on arrival.We enjoyed watching the deer coming to the pool to drink in the morning, the mallards and moorhens, rabbits, heron and various other birds. It was so tranquil. The furniture is of a high quality and we slept very well each night in comfortable beds. The kitchen is very well equipped and easy to use. Excellent instructions with everything you would need to know. In fact quite a perfect place.

Quarry Haven is a lovely spacious house which is tastefully furnished throughout. The kitchen is well equipped and has plenty of work surfaces. Great that there are three bathrooms. Beautiful outside space with plenty of wild life to enjoy watching.

Fantastic house for a family holiday. The kitchen was amazing with very comfy chairs at dining table. House very clean, kitchen well supplied, lovely living room, comfy beds. We visit Bamburgh often over ladt 18 years and have stayed in various smaller houses and places, but this is the best yet.

Very clean and comfortable accommodation. We all slept well in the beds. Loved looking out in the garden at the deer and stoat. Just an excellent week away.

Lovely , peaceful property. Very well equipped and spotlessly clean .Loved the location and garden was an oasis , very calming . If I was being very picky , would have liked more tv channels to choose ,have stayed in some rentals where you have access to Netflix & Amazon Prime using your own log in details .That said came home & rebooked for next year .Fabulous stay .

We had a lovely time in this property,the wildlife that visited us in the garden was great ,deer ,hare and herons to name a few . The house is well equipped and beds very comfortable

What a wonderful week my family and I have had, Quarry Haven met all of our expectations and beyond. It was lovely and clean and very well equipped. It is in a perfect location, short walk to the village which might be a little challenging if you have mobility issues. It is possible to get onto the amazing beach but it's a little trek through the sand dunes. Slightly easier access closer to the castle, which is well worth a visit. The seafood truck food on the car park at the end of the lane is delicious. The Potted Lobster was scrummy too. Only downside was that the the piano wasn't usable which disappointed one of our party who is a keen pianist. I would definitely recommend as a place to stay, the garden is a lovely place to relax and listen to the birds.

Disappointing regarding cleanliness, requires a deep clean and some tlc from the owner, dried food particles in cutlery draws and on cutlery, washing up bowl needed replacing, kitchen bin smelt with age old newspaper at the bottom, shower heads full of bacteria, outside seating area disappointing to name but a few. Sykes didnt want to know, they say contract is with the owner, owner didnt want to know as we didnt complain whilst in the property.

We had a lovely weekend in this gorgeous house. Everything you could want for a relaxing few days and the sun shone which was a bonus!

A beautifully presented property that delivered in all areas. Location is very quiet and peaceful with a short walk through the dunes to the famous Bamburgh beach and a mile or so walk into the town. The property is clean, spacious and well equipped and perfect for a holiday.

A truly beautiful property combining modern facilities with countryside living. Its just far enough off the beaten track to be completely peaceful and relaxing whilst having the beach and Bamburgh village a short walk away. Everything you need is there and it is undisturbed and unspoiled in a gorgeous woodland setting with a view of the castle!

If you need a relaxing and peaceful holiday then Quarry Haven is where you need to be, we have stayed there before and returning again later in the year. Excellent property and location.
