Excellent position, almost on glorious beach. Cottage was fairly basic, with cheap furnishings, a little more luxury would have been nice. Lovely thoughtful welcome pack.
Although the location was faultless with beautiful beaches on the doorstep we were disappointed with the cottage. An extremely noisy fridgefreezer and lack of a kitchen door made relaxing impossible.A rug in the sitting room would have been nice also no rush at back door, the single beds both need replacing as creaking with any movement and not comfortable at all. There was no key locker code for the laundry room, overall such a shame this cottage needs a total revamp and does not match the price point.
1. Your description fails to mention the steep and narrow staircase which might create accessibility issues for some. 2. Your description states 1 dog only allowed. However 2 other adjacent cottages also listed on your website as 1 dog only, had users with 4 dogs, yes, 4 dogs in each cottage. They were noisy and spoilt an otherwise idyllic location. 3. The key safe code for the laundry room was not provided. I had to call a cottage maintenance contact to get the code. 4. The cottage was well equipped and very clean thanks to the cleaning team.

We absolutely loved Brent Goose, small and bijou close to the beach. The narrow staircase to bedrooms and downstairs bathroom not an issue. It was peaceful, comfortable and very private. Paradise for dogs. Beaches amazing. The Welcome pack was very much appreciated. Good safe parking. Northumberland is a beautiful part of the country and when we return it will only be to Brent Goose or one of the other cottages. Highly recommended.

Had a fantastic time at Brent Goose, the views across Budle Bay are phenomenal, even in December, the conditions suited me as a photographer. Dark, moody skies makes for better images. Thirty minutes from the back gate is Bamburgh castle, would happily revisit and maybe in weather which would allow us to use the pizza ovens. The cottage was comfortable, and the log burner made it really cosy.
Lovely cottage, one of four in the same building, that is perfectly located on the stunning Budle Bay. Enough parking for 2 cars per cottage. This cottage is all about the location, which is 50 metres from a quiet beach, with spectacular views across the bay to Lindisfarne. This was a family stay two adults and two teenagers and we had a brilliant holiday. It wasn't a negative for us, but the cottage had steep, narrow stairs with an awkward 90 degree turn at the bottom. It also only had a downstairs bathroom, so if you aren't particularly mobile and need nighttime trips to the bathroom, then this might be a problem but wasn't for us. A lovely cottage in a wonderful location and we had a fantastic holiday.
Lovely cottage and great location next to the beachsea ideal if you have a dog. The welcome pack was well thought out and plenty of treats for the dog. The enclosed garden was well maintained and nice solid garden furniture. The steep stairs were not as bad as expected. My 83 year old mother could manage them but had to navigate the bottom 4 backwards. A mirror is needed for the twin room. Great stay overall.
This cottage certainly is in a tremendous location. When first renovated it probably was then well worth the price point. Alas, since then regular usage has left it looking tired, in need of a deep clean, and redecorating. It's not up to standards we've come to expect from regular use of Sykes. Scratches on doors, marks on door surrounds, cracks in plaster, leaking taps, gas hob rings not all working, shower screen leaking, mould around bath seal and sink taps, etc. These, and finding kitchen utensils in dishwasher cast doubts on the effectiveness of any claimed preoccpancy checks. As a constructive comment to Sykes we would suggest making more prominent details regarding steep, narrow staircase access to downstairs bathroom. We left disappointed, feeling we had been overcharged for what would otherwise have been a great holiday.
The location is excellent though to block that beautiful view with the additional fencesseating is very sad! We appreciated the welcome pack thank you. The cottage could do with a thorough deep clean especially the kitchen and bathroom.

The location of this lovely cottage is fantastic literally on the beach! Its cosy and well equipped, we were very comfortable there over Christmas. There was a helpful welcome pack with tea, coffee etc and plenty of wood for the stove. The bathroom is downstairs and the stairs are steep as described, but carpeted and with a good handrail. The views from the bedroom are fantastic you can see Lindisfarne castle.

Simply Stunning location right there by the Beach
Great cosy cottages in a wonderful location.
The cottage felt warm and cosy as soon as we walked in, which made it inviting. It was generally very well equipped for in and outdoor living. The location is spectacular.
A lovely cottage, with plenty of character, in a wonderful location.
A stunning properly with outstanding views and couldn&39t have a better position. Having holidayed in Northumberland for over 50 years this is the best location ever.
The cottage was spotless and well equipped. Close to the beach and easy to find. We had a fantastic time.
Parking is well laid out with plenty of space. The location of the cottage is perfect and there is access down to the beach and coastal path with a view to die for across to Holy Island. So peaceful and great enclosed patio and garden, very dog friendly. Fab cottage well organised and high specification.
The cottage was excellent, very clean and plenty of equipment to satisfy all needs. The location of the property is outstanding and the views are breathtaking.
