Fabulous location felt like you were in the landscape but close enough to the village to not be an inconvenience. Every appliance and piece of furniture are top quality not always the case from photos. We would thoroughly recommend booking for your Bamburgh stay and are likely to return! Note for the owners there was no information folder, which is typical of holiday properties. Details on what could be recycled and ifwhen we needed to put bins out, along with places to eat, visit and shops are always a nice touch. This was absolutely a 5 experience, just wanted to let you know.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Braeburn which is ideally positioned to walk into the centre of Bamburgh. Everything was very clean and well equipped and the beds were very comfortable. Although the description mentions a step down into the shower room, it is quite a steep step and depending on mobility issues the step may make accessibility to the shower room difficult as there is nothing to hold on to. A minor point the owners might like to think of providing an information folder for guests to refer to for food recommendations, places of interest, doctors, WiFi etc. There is no information about what can be recycled or when bin collection days are so our black bin was already full to the top when we arrived and it was pure chance that we were in the bungalow when the bin lorry turned up.
We had a very enjoyable stay at Braeburn, despite very frequent showers of rain throughout the week. The decor, furniture, and equipment were new and of high quality. The location was superb for views, dog walking on The Links, and central location for the beautiful Northumberland Coast and its glorious hinterland. Just two very minor gripes one spare toilet roll to cover two toilets, a single dishwasher tablet, an empty washing up liquid dispenser, and an empty handwash dispenser are most frustrating when arriving after 4pm and have not sussed out local stores yet and having to use the torch on the phone to see the numbers on the key safe wasnt easy for an 83 year old like me. Otherwise, it was terrific, and I thank the owner for a great holiday.

We know this area and the Armstrong cottages very well as its our favourite part of the UK and have visited many times. The cottage was the largest weve stayed in and was great from start to finish. Extremely comfortable furnishings, relatively well equipped kitchen and a good shower with great water pressure. The garden was well dogproofed and our boy had a lovely time sunning himself and running around. The only comment would be that a welcomeinformation file might be useful for things like the WiFi code, places of interest, emergency contact etc perhaps helpful for those who havent visited before? Other than that we had a lovely stay in this spacious cottage and were very sad to leave.
A lovely Armstrong Cottage very close to the sea. Big dining room which worked brilliantly for us and the dogs! Bedrooms and lounge very comfortable and a nice kitchen although could have done with a frying pan .
We stayed at this property for a week in January and it exceeded all our expectations. The location is ideal, with easy access to Bamburgh Beach, and the cottage itself has been beautifully renovated throughout with high end finishes. The beds and bedding were excellent quality and extremely comfortable. The cottage is spacious and easily accommodates six people. The shower is powerful, and overall the property feels well thought out and equipped. We appreciated how dogfriendly it is. The rear porch was perfect for the dogs, blankets were provided for them, and the enclosed garden was a real bonus and gave great peace of mind. Lovely extra touches made the stay even better. A fantastic place to stay, we would highly recommend it and wouldnt hesitate to return.
