A lovely quiet spot with a path leading onto the beach. Great for walking on the beautiful beaches to Bamburgh or further. Very dog friendly. The cottage is comfortable and clean but the bed is only a double and a king size would have been appreciated. The shower needs an upgrade. Enjoyed our stay very much but who is the nosey neighbour in one of the lodges?

Excellent location for the beach and walking. Small kitchen could do with updating. Tight stairway if you are not too steady on your feet.

We enjoyed Grayling Cottage very much and the location is fantastic. A couple of minor tweaksthings that would have made it more comfortable 1 the largest plates in the property don't fit in the dishwasher. The rotating arm bangs into them 2 Another lamp in the sitting room would be nice 3 The hooks at the back door are great but a couple of larger ones for dog leads and towels would help

Location is perfect. The opportunity to walk on the beach with the dogs literally outside your door is wonderful. Wood burner to die for........

Stunning location with miles & miles of deserted beach & glorious views. Lovely welcome pack & generous startup supply of wood, kindling & firelighters for the log burner. We choose to cook whilst away so we're delighted with the thoughtful utensils provided & good stock of crockery. On a personal note, we found the double bed to be small, squishy & not comfortable, one of us having to move to a much firmer single to avoid a bad back. It would seem March was particularly cold this year, the bathroom was freezing & despite the wall heater miserable to use. BUT, big bath sheets which was a lovely bonus. Can't fault the location & we miss the views & our beach already.

Location was amazing, property was as described. Exact what we were looking for. Clean and well equipped. Stunning views. Sadly the internet failed, this was not the fault of the property owner and the maintenance team tried their best. The only other slight inconvenience was no salt. I hadnt thought I would need to bring some but no salt and pepper was provided. We had an amazing holiday and certainly are planning a return trip. We did appreciate the welcome pack, a nice touch!

Excellent spot ideal for those travelling with a dog. Beautiful clean quiet beaches Cosy cottage, especially with the log burner. We did our shopping in Alnwick before arriving so didn&39t have the hassle during the week. We walked to Bamburgh twice along the beach as it was so beautiful and relaxing.

Beautiful cottage in an amazing location. Wonderful beach walks and wildlife right on your door step. Cottage is cozy and comfortable and well equipped.

Perfect location for beach walks, magnificent views, quality appliances throughout and very well thought out gardens for dog owners. Could not improve on a perfect week and truly converted to magnificent Northumberland.

Property was very clean and tidy on arrival and all essentials catered for including plenty of logs & kindling for the fire. Views are amazing and very peaceful. All in all excellent value for money.
