Lovely cottage in an ideal location
Sandra
Parking is a bit precarious as other bays were blocking the way most days, and deliveries to the hotel and butchers shop meant we had to wait until deliveries were complete on quite a few days. The inter- connecting door is not that sound proof. I saw other posts about it and thought it would be ok, but there was quite a bit of noise coming from the front house.
Angela
Lovely cottage in a superb setting.
Jacqueline
We enjoyed our stay very much at Greenleaf. The location is excellent and the garden was a real bonus. The only negatives for us were that there is no sound proofing between Greenleaf and the adjoining house, despite there being a notice to advise us that this was the case and also the fact that laundry facilities are shared between the 2 houses. This was an issue.
Fran
Lovely cottage in a fabulous location. Clean & well presented holiday accommodation. Great allocated parking space, the garden and patio area was ideal for our dog & for us to sit & enjoy the gorgeous weather we had. Bamburgh is full of character with fabulous eating & drinking establishments
Neil
Great location and parking, nice cottage and garden, quite noisy at night cars and vans coming and going, when sitting out cooking smells very strong from the pub.
Lynsey
A great cottage in a lovely location. We had everything we needed for our stay. It was great to have a parking space, although we did get blocked in a couple of times!
Dave
Excellent cottage in central location, great for exploring Northumberland and the Scottish Borders. It was our second time at Greenleaf and will be back again
Faith
Lovely clean, warm and well equipped house in a great location. The dedicated parking space is definitely a bonus! Be aware though that this house is joined by an internal door to another holiday rental, and the door is not soundproofed (even though the sign says it is!) unfortunately we had to put up with a yappy dog and a crying baby next door which was a shame and would put us off returning. Also the laundry facilities are shared, so again if you have inconsiderate neighbours it isnâ??t ideal. Weâ??d stay again but only if renting both properties together as part of a larger group.
Phil
A great cottage in a fabulous location . Do not underestimate the value of bespoke parking in the village . We will return again to this cottage
Emma
From the lovely welcoming gift to the well equipped facilities, this cottage was everything we needed for our mini break. Location was perfect and lots of space for chilling and games. Private outside area was great and parking space was easily accessible. Bedrooms were spacious, beds were comfy and the house was lovely and clean. Large bath and double shower with great water pressure was a definite bonus. We were so impressed and would definitely book again. Thank you for the great memories.
Anita
The property felt like the poor cousin to the front house. Parking for 2 small cars would be a push. Location is fantastic and lots if amazing eateries nearby.
Paul
Greenleaf is a comfortable two bedroom cottage located at the rear of the adjoining property Greenhouse. It is accessed via a side road next to the Victoria Hotel and has its own parking space which is suitable for a large car. We had no noise problems from the hotel and it was generally quiet. A lovely little garden and patio area is attached to the cottage. Cottage was comfortable and in a great position very close to the pubs and restaurants in Bamburgh as well as the butchers and deli. Easy walk to the beach and castle .
Emma
Lovely cottage in an excellent location. Close to the pubs/eateries in Bamburgh, but, beware of the parking!!
Lee
Excellent cottage. Will be visiting again.
April
This is an outstanding cottage, comfortable and very clean. Within a short walking distance to the amazing beach, dunes, and castle. Great eateries in Bamburgh, just around the corner from this cottage. Ideal stay if you enjoy walking, and dog friendly too ! Would highly recommend.
Marilyn
Good location in village and excellent beach - dog loved it. Very limited food shopping unless you go to Seahouses. Ideally need a car but we got about on buses . Good cafes and Inn. Nice village.
Dave
Excellent spacious cottage situated in the middle of the village but with plenty of privacy
Emma
Lovely accommodation and fantastic location with our own parking space which was a massive bonus. Has everything you need for a break away, and close to all amenities â?¦. Pubs are great too
Zoe
We had a wonderful week staying in Greenleaf. Such a great location for exploring Bamburgh and the Northumberland coast. The cottage has lovely decor, is well equipped and comfy. There are plenty of places to eat out in the village and dog friendly too. Would highly recommend staying here.
Janet
This a beautiful little cottage in a fantastic location. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to explore the Northumberland coast.
Linda
The cottage is in a great location and would be comfortable for visitors with no dogs as they are not allowed upstairs, which was not communicated to us at any time, found out when we arrived. It is very dark and needed the lights on all the time if in. The floorboards creak terribly and do keep people awake, and there is a fair bit of mould in the upstairs hall, main bedroom and around the shower. Someone also just walks in to move bins, not very safe if my dog was in the garden at the time, we were not told someone would just come in as it asks in the info to please put bins out. Overall nice but as I had to sleep downstairs on the sofa because I had a dog, I would not stay again
Gillian
This cottage is in a lovely position only minutes from beach and castle. 3 lovely watering holes on Front Street plus a local butchers and a deli. Inside the cottage was decorated to a high standard with a clever use of mirrors to make the cottage look more spacious and light.
Nigel
The position of the cottage is ideal, as we are dog owners, and having dog friendly pubs and establishments so close by was brilliant. Just stepping out for lovely walks always within sight of the amazing Bambrugh Castle on what is probably the best beach in the UK within 5 minutes walk was amazing. The enclosed garden was private and very secure for our furry friends. We certainly hope to return very soon.
John
The property was spacious, furniture and fittings were to a high standard and it was well situated in Bamburgh close to pubs and restaurants. It was particularly good to have allocated parking in such a prime location.
Mark
Great central location for exploring the area Well equipped property & comfortable beds Slightly annoying noise at nighttime from neighbouring hotel a/c units but slept ok
David
the cottage is very clean and has everything that you need for a good holiday but unfortunately you do not have control of the heating and the soundproof door between green leaf and Greenhouse is not soundproof.
