Lovely cottage Gorgeous location Stayed many times

Lovely cottage, extremely well situated. Comfy beds and good range of utensils, crockery and cutlery available. You may need to bring a 'starter pack' with you (e.g.no dishcloth was provided for our stay - this might be an oversight).

If you recommend that visitors use the dishwasher tablets then might be a good idea for there to be some. We had 1 day cold water only no idea why, and no book to provide any guidance (a simple guide book is normally available). similarly with the wifi we used the code on the back of router although logical, 99/100 it has been changed to something else and is in a guide book, how do we use the plug in radiators? we worked it in the end.... Granted in the kitchen there is a drawer full of owner/instruction manuals but not a simple 'go to'. Logs? the advertisement doesn't state there will be any or that there won't but the photographs are suggestive, and where do ashes go if you were to buy logs and use them? No place mats, no dishcloth, 3 teabags and some single serve sugar, the kitchen table is sticky where the varnish remains. It is a shame as it could be the perfect cottage, pans are knackered the milk pan is losing it's non-stick the medium pan is losing its base.....

I have been staying at this cottage since the 1980â??s having originally found it in â??The Ladyâ?? magazine!!It now feels like going home. The location is perfect and the cottage has everything one needs. A very special place to stay and I just love all the memories I have created during my many times there. Thank you.

Great location overlooking the castle and a delightful cottage with all the necessary amenities, very comfortable beds and a lovely sitting room to relax in.

One of the few properties we've ever made a return visit to, and hope to be back again. Comfortable and cosy period property, with everything we needed. Lovely location in central Bamburgh, great views of the castle but in a quiet side street. Right next to the kid's playground and a short walk to the beach and dunes. Good choice of cafes and pubs in the village. Excellent base for families, walkers and birdwatchers.
E
An ideal location near the centre of Bamburgh with plenty of great walking and places to visit.

Lovely cosy cottage in a perfect location with everything you could need - the xmas lights in the village and the displays at the castle were gorgeous- we had a great week and hopefully will return next year

Perfect location, stunning castle view to wake up to. Only a short walk to beach & lovely village. Stayed several times, would recommend.

Perfectly positioned in the Wynding, 5 mins walk over the dunes to the beach and 5 mins to the local pub, or hotels or restaurants. Wake up with the stunning view of the Castle! Great position to base yourselves for exploring the Northumbria coastal routes. Seahouses 10 mins away has grocery shops, fish and Chips shops (in abundance) and nice pubs, plus harbour trips out to the Farne islands. Cottage is comfortable with a log burner for the colder nights, and is equipped with everything you need. Carparking at the rear a bit compact.
Sue
Lovely stay, everything clean and tidy. View from bedroom is amazing
Stephen
lovely cottage in a fab location. We had a great time!
Claire
We had a fab week staying here - the cottage is lovely and in a great location. Despite the listing details there ARE towels provided but weirdly no kitchen cleaning materials (eg surface spray and washing up liquid) which I would expect to find in a holiday rental so take your own! The house is heated via storage heaters and electric heaters which were absolutely fine - didnâ??t miss central heating at all. Bed was comfy and shower was great. If I was ever headed back to Bamburgh I would look to book again.
